Microblog mondays-Indian Dancing

Still in awe of the indian dance show I saw last night in the museu do oriente
It was a joint perfomance from  two dancers of indian classical dance, but with different styles. One dances Bharatanatyam and the other kathak.
Bharathanatyam   better known. It is amazing to see how the feet do the rythm and the upper body does the melody, right down to the eyes. Also I appreciate it even more because I took a few classes with that same dancer a few years ago, so I appreciate the difficulty.
And khatak was a discovery for me. It is much rounder and fluid. Maybe more internal.
