Was not so expensive after all

Drawing lesson today at  Praça do. Comercio.

Every restaurant and coffee shop has tourist prices nowadays (I paid 1.5 EUR for a coffee when the normal price is 0.60), so when lunchtime came, it didn’t cross our mind to eat there.

But then somebody suggested half joking that we have lunch at Martinho da Arcada, a 200 years old restaurant that had customers like Fernando Pessoa.

It was on our way so we checked out the prices. It looked expensive but P. asked the waiter if there were some cheaper dishes and he said: well, we have the chef’s recommandations. That were actually half the price.

So we ended up having a very nice lunch at the terrace, with prices for the locals.
